We Wild Camp

Too busy for having family time on weekdays? Here’s a great opportunity to have all the fun with the little ones! Ocean Park proudly presents the “We Wild Camp”, a two-day and one-night programme loaded with intriguing parent-child activities, immerging with the concept of sustainability. What a memorable “edutainment”! With the help of Whiskers Villagers, kids and parents can together prepare enrichment items for the meerkats to play with and meet their adorable family up-close. Whiskers Village will also be collaborating with “Botanic Union” from Lam Tsuen for the first time, hosting the Kokedama Workshop for kids and parents. You can use the “MixO' Plus” organic compose, made from local recycled material, to make one-of-a-kind kokedamas and bring your masterpiece home!
 
In addition, participants can try to craft bamboo tables for dinner and set up tents to skill up in cooperation. After the meal, kids will have a chance to visit the interactive technology-based experience hub— “Explorer R”, and to create their own AI SuperAnimal to take on different game challenges, exploring the animal survival skills with scientific thinking! Last but not least, the family can enjoy a tranquil evening under the starry sky, listen to the breathing of nature and experience a different side of Ocean Park. Participants could stay behind after the programme and continue to explore the fun in Ocean Park the next day.

Participant	Aged 3 or above Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying parent/ guardian who satisfies all programme requirements.
Venue	Whiskers Harbour, The Waterfront
Time	2 Days 1 Night, Day 1 3:30pm – Day 2 10:00am Participants could stay behind after the programme and continue to explore the fun in Ocean Park.
Capacity	32 per session (1-4 persons per tent, maximum 8 tents per session) Each adult could accompany at most 3 participants aged under 18. The programme will be cancelled if there are less than 4 tents.
Language	Cantonese, supplemented by English.
Gathering Time and Location	3:30pm, “Conservation Kiosk” next to Ticketing Office, Main Entrance
Remarks	Participants are required to comply with the Hong Kong Government’s latest anti-pandemic guidelines. Camping essentials and shower facilities will be prepared for We Wild Camp participants, but no power supply will be provided for charging electronic devices. Participants must join on time. If they request for late in or early out, they must inform Ocean Park at least 1 week prior to the programme day, the Park will not compensate the activities that the participants miss due to their own personal arrangement. Programmes are subject to change and/or cancellation due to animals’ conditions and venue without prior notice.

1. All applications will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. The itinerary or content of the programme may be subject to change without prior notice.
3. The stay-behind fee for the next day is included in the programme fee.
4. Enrolment deadline: 5 days before each session commences.
5. Enrolment will be postponed for 1 day if the following circumstances happen at 12:00nn:
   1. Tropical cyclone signal number 8 or above is hoisted by The Hong Kong Observatory.
   2. Black rainstorm warning issued by The Hong Kong Observatory.
6. The selected programme code, date, time and participant’s name cannot be changed or rescheduled. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure the programme dates fit in participant’s schedule before enrolment.
7. Participants will receive a confirmation letter via email once the payment has been received. Please pay attention to the spam or junk mailboxes of your email account.
8. Information is subject to change without prior notice. In the event of a dispute, the decision of Ocean Park will be final.
