The Ocean Park Wondrous Winter Gala and Giant Panda Celebration is turning up the festive cheer from now until 1 January 2025 with a variety of unforgettable panda-themed experiences, immersing visitors into a fantasy world of light and shadow alongside festive performances and must-visit photo spots.
Celebration transports everyone into the world of panda joy
Building upon the excitement sparked by the arrival of two new giant pandas and two panda cubs in 2024, the Park is introducing an endearing collection of characters inspired by the six charming giant pandas at Ocean Park. Each character has been crafted to mirror their real-life counterparts, showcasing distinctive features such as eye patches and fuzzy patterns, alongside personalities that span from playful and curious to gentle. Visitors are invited to explore every corner of the Park to discover a range of experiences and products featuring these lovable characters.
The entrance of the Park is now transformed into a panda wonderland with the charming Bamboo Embrace decoration that invites visitors of all ages to dive into Panda Photo Mania. At Waterfront Plaza, visitors are greeted by the 5-metre-tall inflatable figures of An An and Ke Ke — “Giant” Panda Pals, creating a perfect backdrop for photos en route Giant Panda Adventure and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures, where the beloved panda dad Le Le, and new panda duo An An and Ke Ke await visitors respectively.
Capture joyful moments with your favourite panda companions
Starting from 21 December 2024, you can step into the highlighted attractions for this season — the captivating world of Panda Wonders: An Illuminated Journey, a panda-themed fantasy realm where light and shadow harmoniously dance and offer countless photo spots. Embark on a journey through the Panda Light Spectrum, where the familiar black and white of giant pandas transforms into a kaleidoscope of hues, creating a vibrant and enchanting atmosphere.
Wander through the Blossom Flowerscape and encounter the endearing giant panda character of Le Le amidst interactive floral installations that conceal other playful pandas.
Follow The Paws to the ethereal Bamboo Oasis, where the majestic giant panda character of Ying Ying materialises through cutting-edge 3D projection technology. Discover hidden pandas among the bamboo and listen to their actual voices, immersing yourself in a truly surreal experience.
Conclude your odyssey by engaging with augmented reality pandas and immortalise your visit with a picture-perfect moment at Panda FunSnap, ensuring lasting memories of this enchanting encounter with these adorable creatures.

As night falls, experience the magic of the Panda Laser Delight, with adorable pandas projected onto the iconic "seahorse" structure on Brick Hill, alongside the dazzling Gala of Lights — Winter Celebration, featuring fiery illuminations and enchanting water screens.
At Waterfront Plaza, the giant Panda Claus Tree glows with twinkling lights, creating the perfect festive backdrop for cherished holiday memories. Enjoy lively performances like the joyful Jingle All The Way and Winter Dance Party shows, and join Santa Claus with Whiskers and Friends at the Christmas Shining Bright Party, spreading the warmth, light, and cheer of the season in the company of our beloved pandas.
